   Ansel Adams, Edward Weston and Eliot Porter were among the greatest landscape photographers of the twentieth century. Unlike many of today’s photographers have used film.    From the description of the book online, I expected something different. But I am not disappointed. The book description states that “[c] ontaine a number of wonderful works of Ansel Adams and other landscape masters like Edward Weston and Elliott Porter. In 160 pages, there are only three photos of Adams, and one each from Weston and Porter. With my personal feelings at work by Ansel Adams’, I could not wait to see more. But when I went through the book and yet, I realized that the true value of the book was to appreciate not only the finished works of Adams, but Frye’s own work and how he uses it to show how Adams has done what systematically. Adams’ manual filtering, dodging, burning, etc., are all carried out in the era of digital photography and digital manipulation of photographs. All eyes, at least some familiarity with the ability Adams’ “a picture before he took as his black magic to see the details in both bright highlights and deep shadows, Frye walkthrough really helped are able to appreciate the work Adams’ even more.

   Someone has just started photography, who does not know what was beyond Ansel Adams images look good black and white, most likely lost quickly in this book. This is not to say that is not to make substantial written statement with images, but there is only so much you can put in a book of 160 pages are designed with themes for teaching entire courses. Size double with proportionally greater length in the instructions would have been nice. And perhaps this is a very positive confirmation of what is worthy of the book – not enough to be useful, but with the quality that the application requires even more.

   Once again, although I do not understand exactly what I expected and I just wanted most was what I received I want to reiterate what I said earlier: they are not at all disappointed with my selection. When I met was in a library and spent some ‘time looking through them are quite confident that I bought.    Digital Photography Landscape

   Truly a fun and useful book, style Ansel Adams et al dissected and then explains how to achieve a similar vision in digital media today. I was immediately taken by a discussion of a classic Adam’s “Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico, 1941″. There are short, his vision is subjected, and learn to see beyond the obvious. Technology for a lasting masterpiece – compose in his mind then take emotions to be moved in his heart. Difficult to express in words, but Michael Frye succeeds quite well.

   I spent much of my adolescence doing photography darkroom. I still have some of my photos in black and white and there is still a passion for me, but there’s no way I have time to spend hours at a pressure in the darkroom. Digital photography is more resolutions, which rivals the best film, and new software such as Nik Software’s Complete Collection – tools for professional photography and Photoshop, Lightroom and Aperture to convert images to black and white and also choose to grain film and a grayscale allows altered by the Zone System. />

   Humiliating. The book is booked, and the contributions so far. This book shows how the master landscape photographers like Ansel Adams, he could be photographed if they had a digital camera. Frye has included everything you would expect from a quality “as” book. He has mastered the material, speaks to the reader and makes his points. He knows more than me, and that is why you pay the money for its expertise.
