Do you only photograph children?

No, we also photograph maternity, newborns, teens, seniors, families, couples, engagement and a few weddings a year.

What clothing should be worn for the photo session?

My belief is that simple is best. Solid colors are always great. Try to avoid busy patterns or logos/words on clothing. If more than one person is being photographed together, clothes that are similar in style give a coordinated look. If considering the color white, please do so sparingly, as this color reflects light strongly.

Hats, scarves, headbands and hairbows are great accessories for photographs, as well as diaper covers for babies. Bare feet are great in photos. Bare skin is wonderful on newborns and babies, but clothing can be worn also.

How long does a session typically last?

A normal portrait session in the studio will last 30 minutes to 1 hour. A session on location or in the home will normally last 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

How long will it take to see my proofs?

Proofs will be posted in our password protected client area for viewing typically 1 1/2 to 2 weeks after the session. They will remain online for viewing for two weeks and then removed, so it is best to try to place your order within this timeframe. Proofs can be reposted, but there will be a $45 fee to do so.

How long will it take to receive my prints after I place an order?

Normally prints are back within 7 - 10 days from the time the order is placed. If a special product, framing or canvas is ordered, this can take longer.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes, we do have a referral program. Refer a friend and have them mention your name when booking their session and once they have completed their session, you will receive $20 in credit to use any way that you like toward your next session. They will receive a set of 8 wallets to thank them as well.

When is payment do for the session fee and ordered prints?

The session fee is due at the time that the session is booked in order to guarantee your session time. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, cash and Paypal. Any products or prints ordered require a 50% down payment to place the order and the other 50% is due at the time that the portraits are picked up. Portraits can be mailed directly to you for $10, if you are unable to pick them up.
